FAQ

How much do these treatments cost?

The costs of fertility treatments vary depending on several factors such as patient age, type of assisted reproduction technique used (artificial insemination, conventional in vitro fertilization, ICSI Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection, or donated egg), quantity of drugs used to stimulate ovulation, etc.

The approximate costs are:

Artificial Insemination: $500, depending on the technique used for sperm capacitation or if the sperm bank is used.
Medication to stimulate ovulation in artificial insemination: approximately $200 to $400 USD
Follicle ultrasounds scan(ultrasounds to control the ovulation stimulation): $150 USD

In Vitro Fertilization IVF / Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection ICSI:  Between $4,500 to $5,000, depending on the treatment complexity. This amount includes: all medical consultations once the ovulation stimulation starts, ultrasound for follicular monitoring, use of assisted reproduction laboratory for egg aspiration, eggs culture, semen preparation, egg fertilization or microinjection of eggs ICSI, culture of embryos in our assisted reproduction laboratory, embryo transfer, fees of gynecologists involved in the treatment, fees of nurses.

Medication to stimulate ovulation in case of IVF / ICSI: approximately $2,200 to $3,000 USD. Patients under 32 years old, with good ovarian reserve use fewer medications and may spend $2,200. Patients over 40 years old who may need more medication to stimulate ovulation may spend from $2,800 to $3,000.

Embryo freezing (cryopreservation): $1,500.

Testicular Biopsy or Epididymal Aspiration: $800.

Testicular tissue or epididymis freezing (cryopreservation): $200.
Regarding the probability of pregnancy, it mainly depends on woman’s age and her cause of infertility. 50% of patients of 35 years or less get pregnant in the first attempt. As the age advances the probability decreases, at 40 the chance of pregnancy is 30%. Unfortunately, no one can guarantee pregnancy after IVF or ICSI treatment; however, what we can assure is that we have the best assisted reproduction laboratory in the country and, therefore, our results are the best.

We know that the success of a fertility treatment can only be achieved with the close collaboration between embryologists, gynecologists, nurses, urologists and anesthesiologists
